MONTHLY AFFIRMATIONS: September 2016
When I serve others, I too, am served.
My spiritual family is a compassionate family. We consciously choose to offer our hearts and hands in care and concern for humankind. Together, we contribute to the vision of a world that works for everyone.
The Light of Truth shines through me and guides my way.
I think thoughts of peace for and about myself and all people everywhere. In my choice to be peace, I allow myself to be a space for the flow of Life to circulate, and I am ready to receive the good that is mine.

Welcome Letter from our Spiritual Director -
Rev. Glenda Davis
Welcome to the Spiritual Enrichment Center of Dothan! We’re a unique New Thought community – affiliated with both Unity and Centers for Spiritual Living. We feel we are on the ‘cutting-edge’ of partnership and cooperation as we bring New Thought teachings to our community.

How did this happen? It all began in 1992 when a small group of interested people decided to get together to study the teachings of Unity. At about the same time, another group was meeting to study Science of Mind (the name was later changed to Centers for Spiritual Living). In 1996, I moved to the area and started a Science of Mind study group – we rented space in the Unity facility, located on West Main Street at that time. The two groups were merged, meeting on Sundays and Wednesdays. In time, the idea came about to purchase our own building. Our current property on S. Oates Street was acquired in 2002. With funds from the Unity building fund and grants acquired from Science of Mind, the work began! Don Pegg and Marvin Davis headed up the project, along with many volunteers and skilled craftsmen, to turn the property into the beautiful facility that we enjoy today. Within a year after moving into the main building in 2005, the last of our mortgage was paid off!
We offer the New Thought teachings of Unity and Religious Science (AKA Science of Mind and now Center for Spiritual Living) in a way that people can apply them to their lives for happiness, and more successful and abundant living.
We are a loving, friendly and joyful community – we invite you to come for a visit and stay for a lifetime! You are a friend we are looking forward to meeting~
